Mmmm, Tuesday. How I wish it was later in the week already!

Weekend was okay. Friday I played poker at Natalie and Kevin's. It was sort of an interesting invite for me, because I did not have Natalie's number in my phone, so when she text messaged me (it was a group text message, which means it followed allowable rules), I had no idea who was inviting me to play poker at their place! It ended up being pretty easy to figure out though (she'd mentioned it the last time I saw her, the address, etc...). I brought a bottle of Asti (the one Cat gave me on Monday, so it was quickly consumed!) - Natalie and I went through that AND a bottle Natalie ran next door to buy very quickly. This was of course fun while we were drinking it but did not make for good poker playing later in the evening! I lost $40 on the night. We also ordered sushi, and after I came out of the tournament (tied for fifth out of nine), watched the WORST MOVIE EVER (probably not, but it was pretty bad) - Music and Lyrics. Natalie has a nice place, and I like that the core group from the free poker game has started to get together more often for house games (even though I haven't been able to make it to many).

Saturday... I have not been that tired in a LONG TIME. I got home around 3am Friday night and went straight to bed. I woke up around 9:30am, was up for about 5 minutes before I decided that I couldn't function, and went back to bed - I woke up again at 1:30pm. And I dragged all day! At 5:30pm, I took a nap until 8pm and then went to bed before midnight - it was ridiculous. Sunday was a little better, but I didn't do a whole lot. At least I had knitting to do, but even that was difficult on Saturday - crazy. I don't think it was the alcohol, because just a bottle of sparkling wine should not have that effect the next day.

Yesterday I had dinner with Kim and her family, as well as Patrick, Jeff and Kristen. We ate Vietnamese food in Harvard Square (parking took me half an hour, probably because of some event at Urban Outfitters), which was really delicious. Kim's dad was so cute - he said he was worried that Kim would be lonely when she moved here, but now that he's met us he knows that's not true! Aww... While I'm usually a little apprehensive about it (due to my generally antisocial nature), meeting my friends' parents is usually a good time.

Thursday I'm going to the Red Sox game with Kathy, and then hopefully Kristen and I will play tennis this weekend (Jeff thinks it will never happen, and I'm determined to make sure it does, if only to prove him wrong), so it should be a decently busy week coming up.
