Man, is Picasa the most awesome thing in the world. It let me make this collage! Yeah, I have nothing better to do right now (other than work on this case study that I was doing because I have free time and am now doing because people are expecting it, ugh) and it's almost time for my vacation! So you get this montage of my dull life. See, I realized that people who post pictures of everything actually take pictures of everything. So that is my goal - to take pictures of everything. In this one:
Upper left corner: This is my desk at work. Notice the coat on my chair, not in the coat closet, because I might get cold (and I do get cold). And what's that on my 19-inch flatscreen monitor? A knitting blog! My desk is not very neat.
Upper right corner: Another view of my workspace, and this time you're treated to my wall. Some of you will notice a map of the Finger Lakes. What you probably can't see is that this is a Finger Lakes wine map, and lists all of the wineries, with phone numbers, in the Finger Lakes. Also in the picture is a "red" calendark, a Billy Nayer poster that I love, and our reporting pricing system. That is missing the $15,000 "Kick Ass" report. I need to put that up there.
Lower left corner: My new space heater! Jeff, my manager, got tired of my whining about the cold and got me a space heater. It was still in the box, because, after it arrived on Wednesday, the office got hot (it was space heater magic - like in the Stewart Ave apartment way back when). But today it's cold in here, and now the space heater sits on my desk, blowing hot air at me all day long and I am happy. Ohh, and that red tuft peaking out of my purse? See below.
Lower right corner: This is a picture of the scarf I'm knitting. I took this picture Wednesday night, and the scarf has become longer since then. For one, the ball of yarn sticking out is now wound into the scarf and I've started on ball of yarn #3. Also, the picture does not do the scarf justice. It is more of a scarlet red and under the fuzziness there is also dark brown and gold, so that kinda shows through enough to give it a little character. So the specks are not table, even though they are the same color - it's gold yarn specks.
