Done!
I was actually asked to put a picture here of the finished scarf, so here it is. As you can see, it goes quite well with my winter coat.
Details on the project, in case you ever want to make a scarf like this:
Yarn: 5 balls Bernat Envy in Luscious Red (Acrylic/Nylon blend)
Needles: Size 15 Circulars
Width: 25 stitches
Pattern: Knit stitch the whole way
End length: 8 1/2 feet
I think it came out quite well for my first project. :-)
